Polystyrene shoe lasts are used to form slippers and woolen shoes by felting fibres with water and soap.
The shoe lasts makes it possible to obtain well-formed slippers and, at the same time, correct right foot and left foot.
How to use the lasts:
- Perform the usual felting around templates.
- Place a thin plastic bag around the shoe last to facilitate the insertion of the felting.
- When the felting approaches the desired size, bring it to on the shoe last and continue felting until it becomes solid. Avoid putting too much pressure on the toes as the shape is thinner, and therefore weaker, there.
The shoe lasts are sold in pairs (each pair covers 2 sizes) and are reusable.
