The fiber comes from the Angora rabbit farm Un poil de douceur located near Plombières-les-Bains (Vosges), where Delphine raises her rabbits with respect for animal welfare, guaranteeing the rabbits' health and well-being. The hair is collected during a natural molt. This harvest is essential for the animal's good physiological condition. On harvest day, a simple combing or plucking (ensuring only loose fur is removed) of the rabbit's body is enough to collect the hair, without pain or stress.
